The civil justice system, designed to
bring redress and compensation to people and businesses wronged by
another, so often means litigation. At times, litigation is necessary,
but it is stressful, expensive, time-consuming, intrusive, and public.
Abraham Lincoln referred to litigation as an "excellent last resort."
He also said, "The good attorney is the one who keeps his client out
of court."
Mediation is not conducted in a courtroom. Mediation is confidential

in control. We will guide you through solutions to your problems,
allowing you to control those things that are most important to you.
Sometimes life dictates that you make hard choices. You are not
required to allow those choices to be made by judges and courts or a
jury of strangers.
A mediator is an impartial third person who helps overcome
communication barriers, enabling agreements to be satisfying to all
parties. This means that you can express yourself and be heard. The
mediation process is free of coercion. Each side will understand the
options, implications, and consequences of these options. The final
decisions are made by each party.
